Postby queendominique on Wed Oct 17, 2007 7:25 pm

The next funding cycle of the NM Safe Routes to School Program is now open and applications are due December 14. Please visit the NM SRTS website at www.nmsaferoutes.com
http://nmshtd.state.nm.us/main.asp?secid=15411
for the program guidelines and the Phase 1 application. Phase 2 applicants with SRTS Action Plans should contact me as soon as possible so that I can review the Action Plan for compliance with the program requirements and provide a Phase 2 application form.

Registration for the Phase 1 trainings is now open, as well. There will be two Phase 1 trainings held as follows:

11/6 – Las Cruces

11/8 – Albuquerque
The training will be from 8am to 4:30pm with food provided. Recipients of Phase 1 funds are required to attend. Entities planning to submit a Phase 1 application are encourage to attend and will receive extra points on their application. For more information, please visit www.nmsaferoutes.com. Details on meeting location and nearby hotels will be posted on the website in the next few days. The training is free but seating is very limited and may be limited to one person per entity.

Please contact me with any questions.
